Wurth-Rus JSC, as a part of the WURTH GROUP, takes a holistic approach to environmental protection. Our policy is to use any natural resources responsibly.  

CONCERN FOR PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

Since we are not a manufacturer, our environmental impact is quite small. However, we strive to further reduce that carbon footprint and contribute to a greener future.

• Our concern is the continuous improvement of logistics processes in order to make them more energy efficient and time-saving.

• We are also reducing our carbon footprint by equipping our new vehicles with emission control systems and by using low-energy lighting in our facilities.

• To reduce fuel consumption, we carry out regularly vehicles maintenance and we have started using electric forklifts in our warehouses.

• Our chemical products comply always with the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), meeting all necessary requirements and restrictions on their production and sale.

• We always dispose of our waste correctly and, if possible, we recycle it. Our increased use of digital media and technology is helping to reduce consumption of paper.

• We follow the established limits for consumption of water, electricity and natural gas, and we monitor volume of wastewater. We use sensors to monitor the consumption of water, electricity and natural gas.

Constant reduction and prevention of any harmful effects on the environment is a mandatory element of our strategy, ensuring the long-term and sustainable development of Wurth-Rus JS
